Our à la carte menu aims to accommodate dietary preferences and has a full vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and no seafood menu option for guests with any dietary requirements. To ensure we’re able to cater to your needs, please mention any requirements in your booking reservation vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and no seafood variations.

Inspired by fashion, glamour, and individual style, we encourage guests to dress in smart casual attire that complements our elegant setting. While jackets and ties are not required, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing overly casual attire, including casual footwear. This dress code also applies to children dining in the restaurant.
Our team reserves the right to refuse entry to guests who do not adhere to our dress code policy. -
Oborozuki welcomes children aged 14 years and older to dine with us, provided they are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or carer.
We appreciate children adhering to respectful behaviour towards our other guests during their visit to Oborozuki.
We kindly request that you abide by this policy when making a reservation, as it is in place for the comfort of all our guests. -
Yes, we have full accessibility, and you can enter through Level 2 of the restaurant via the street lift. A disabled bathroom is also available for your convenience.

The closet car park is the Wilson Sydney Opera Car Park, entrance from 2A Macquarie Street. Please note we do not have access to discounted car parking.

If you know you will be running late, please give our reservations team a call ahead of your booking arrival time on +61 426 111 999 to determine how we can best accommodate.
However, please note that late arrivals for dining may shorten the duration of your experience. -
We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations, changes in the number of diners, or reservation date changes.
Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of $100 per person for à la carte bookings and $1500 for Teppanyaki and private dining room reservations.
Cancellation requests, diner count changes, date adjustments, or dietary requirements should be communicated in writing to info@oborozuki.com.au or as a comment in the online reservation system.

Yes, at Oborozuki, walk-ins are welcome subject to table availability. Please note that we do not reserve tables for walk-ins. To ensure a seamless experience, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

A 1.8% surcharge applies to all card payments.
A discretionary 5% service charge is applied to all dinner bills and 10% for groups of 6 or more, directly supporting our dedicated staff and fostering the growth of their knowledge, skills, and passion, ensuring we deliver exceptional experiences for you.
A discretionary service charge of 5% applies to all Teppanyaki bookings.
A 15% surcharge applies on Public Holidays. -
In addition to our Oborozuki gift vouchers, which can be conveniently purchased from our Gift Voucher page, we also welcome Best Restaurant Gift Cards and Good Food gift cards.

Yes, we have one private dining room available in the main dining area, overlooking Sydney Harbour, and it can seat up to 12 guests. We also have three private Teppanyaki Rooms located on the elevated floor of Oborozuki, each able to accommodate between up to 6 to 10 guests.

Bringing your own cake is allowed, subject to a cakage fee.
If you'd like our pastry team to create a personalised cake, let us know at the time of your booking. Our pre-order celebratory cakes require a minimum of 5 days' notice.

Yes you can to personalise your exclusive event or private rooms, such as balloons and flowers. If you intend to bring decorations for our main dining area, please notify the Oborozuki team in advance. Note that the decorations will be reviewed and are subject to the discretion of the management team. We kindly ask that you consider other guests by avoiding obstructions to views or potential hazards.
